Cheating husband signs are pretty easy to spot if you are actually looking for them. Be careful and make sure you are not allowing your mind to run away with some evil thoughts as we are all prone to see what we want. There are some cheating husband signs that are unmistakable though. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending upon your perspective, men don't seem to learn from history. If you see any of the following, it is probably time to confront him.

After many years of marriage, most couples become used to each others' routines and habits. But if suddenly you start to notice changes in the usual patterns you may suspect that you have a cheating husband. What signs should you look out for? We explain below.

Moody -  Is your husband secretive or resentful of any questions you might ask him? Does he suddenly lash out if you question where he has been or ask to explain for unaccounted time? Does he start telling you he has been out with his mates more often than before? Then he might be cheating!

Lies - You might start to notice changes in little details about his explanations. Is he having an affair? He may be wining and dining someone when he pretends to be working late at night. If your cheating husband signs more checks than usual, or waits by the letter box and takes the credit bill straight upstairs then you should be wary.

Phone - Another dead giveaway is if he hides his phone bill when it arrives or mysteriously has another phone. Pay-as-you go phones don't have an itemized bill. You may catch him sending text messages which he suddenly switches off when you enter the room.

Too Busy? - The first excuse just about every man makes is that he is stuck at work and won't be home till later or can't take you out tonight. You need to look at a pay stub and see if there is any extra cash coming in. If he is cheating, it will be the total opposite.

He will be spending money that he hadn't planned on and will actually be short of cash. Once you have confirmed that the work excuse is a lie, wait for the next phone call and flip it around on him. Offer to bring dinner to him and see what excuse he comes up with then. When he starts stammering, it is a sure sign of guilt.

He Starts Fights - Most men will avoid a fight with their woman at all costs. We all know the two best words in the English language for a successful relationship are "yes dear." We will pick our spots, but for the most part, we will concede defeat as long as it does not involve football. If he is coming home and starting fights and then storming out, he is trying to accomplish two things. He maybe trying to get you to break up with him and he is also generating a way to get out of the house for a few hours.

You're pissed at him and you don't even care that he is gone. Meanwhile, he is smiling the moment he hits the pavement. One fight like this could just happen, when they are happening every week, you have some concerns.

Slip ups - There are also some common slip ups that point towards a cheating spouse. You may notice a new perfume on their clothes, lipstick on the collar or hair on clothing. You should also be on the look out for odd charges on their credit card, new withdrawals in the bank account or stray receipts that seem out of place.

Not being himself - Has he lost interest in you? In sex? Or, is he more interested, more attentive than usual? Does he bring you home flowers unexpectedly? A sure sign that a man is cheating is if he is feeling guilty about it and brings you gifts and flowers for no reason.

You may also be receiving a lot of phone calls where the caller immediately hangs up or see your spouse conversing in hushed tones or hanging up when you walk in the room.

There are a ton of cheating husband signs, but these are probably the more popular ones. You can spend a day on the internet looking them all up and still not have a complete list. Start with the obvious and once you have these confirmed, you can pretty much guarantee that you have some unwanted competition.

If you are really suspicious, start to write down the explanations that he gives about how his time has been spent or where he has been. Then ask him again casually in a couple of days time. Does he still give you the same explanations? Or has he forgotten the lie he made up and tells you something completely different? One or two of these signs might not amount to much, but if he is doing all these and more, then watch out!
